Miami Heat: Social media influencer, Famous Los, salutes Dwyane Wade
The Miami Heat’s greatest player ever, Dwyane Wade, was a highlight waiting to happen. Social media influencer, Famous Los, recently took on some of them.
Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat’s single greatest player ever, is no stranger to doing amazing or eye-popping things. He’s been doing them since he arrived on the national scene.
When he was at Marquette in college, who thought that he would lead his team to the 2003 Final Four? When he was just a third-year pro, who thought he would take his Miami Heat team to the title, along with a little help from Shaquille O’Neal of course, but who?
Even now to this day though, he never ceases to surprise, constantly switching up his hair color and trying new inventive styles. Ok, that was a little less in the same realm of things here but seriously, he’s always been a trendsetter, a groundbreaker, and someone constantly doing amazing things.
He found himself receiving the utmost of social media honors recently for some of the things he’s done. Let me explain.
Social media influencer, Famous Los, has made a lane of giving his unique brand of commentary to the highlight reels of some of our most favorite professional ballers. Dwyane Wade made the cut a few days ago, see for yourself.
From the colorful commentary to the hilarious reactions and as always, he was on point. Here were our top three plays that he took on.
Miami Heat great Dwyane Wade has a ton of highlights from his illustrious career. Social media influencer, Famous Los, recently took on some of them.
1. “Clock In!”
This is the second play of the video actually. It begins around the 13-second mark of the video.
It shows Flash proceed to take on one Detroit Pistons defender by giving him a jab step move, while simultaneously setting up the second defender for the second move which is the spin, before jamming the ball home. As Famous Los says in his commentary, “young D.Wade dunked everything”.
2. “Fake, Baseline… Oh My God!”
This is a play where Wade makes Nikola Vucevic of the Orlando Magic look bad. He has him out along the baseline, the left baseline facing Wade’s rim, before simply proceeding to confuse the dickens out of him.
He sets him up by driving hard down towards the baseline, fainting towards the rim as if he is going to drive hard, before pivoting into a perimeter post. That post turns out to be a fake the opposite way as he spins back towards the baseline, only to drive to the rim for an easy reverse layup and all while Vucevic is still along the perimeter looking.
You can find this play starting at around 1:26 of the video.
3. “Jab-Season”
My third favorite play here was the very next play in the video. Against Chauncey Billups to start and finishing violently on a future champion teammate, Chris Andersen, Dwyane Wade did what Dwyane Wade does.
He got by Billups along the baseline with a patented quick jab up and drive back to the baseline, before rising up to punch it down on the head of the Birdman. It was a work of art.
Anytime you get to see Flash highlights, it’s golden, but especially when the commentary is this entertaining. Treat yourself and check it out!
