Miami Heat big man, Meyers Leonard, takes his social media interaction seriously. You just have to see one of his latest engagements.

Miami Heat big man, Meyers Leonard, is a very unique guy for many reasons. For starters, he has to be in the top one to five percent of all living human beings height-wise.

Secondly, when you look at his game on the floor, he shoots the three-ball extraordinarily well. While all bigs are venturing out to the three-point line or along the perimeter more than they ever have these days, none of them shoot the ball out there quite like Leonard can.

From an efficiency standpoint, he was near or at the top of the league leaders for 3 point percentage, along with teammates Kelly Olynyk and the flame-throwing Duncan Robinson, before falling out of contention due to not meeting the league minimum stat requirements.

With the league mandating that you need to have made at least 82 threes to qualify at the end of a season presumptively, that would average out to be exactly one per game. With Leonard only making 51 of his 119 attempts thus far this season through only 49 of 65 games, that’s what got him led to his non-qualification. In his defense though, he would have qualified for certain if he had not been injured if you ask me.

Lastly and though there is a ton more, such as the ability to shotgun the life out of a beer, his social media interaction with his fans and followers has to be among the highest ever for anybody as famous as he is for his on-court and off-court life.

The Miami Heat’s Meyers Leonard is always engaging on social media. Here is an example from Saturday.

It was on full display Saturday afternoon as one fan and his son were busy practicing a little Miami Heat culture linguistics(even though he’s a Trail Blazer’s fan, which totally makes sense when you… nevermind).

Learning to get the Hammer’s name down pat, the little guy got out multiple versions of both Leonard’s whole name and his nickname. See for yourself.

Keep banging little dude, you’ll get it, we can hear it coming through. The dad’s face says it all about the last one though and boy is it funny. Spot on reaction.

This is the content that makes it all alright, at least for that moment. Keep being you Hammer and thanks to the fan for the video. Let’s just hope that the Blazers and the Heat don’t clash in the restart, but maybe that wouldn’t be so bad either.
