Former Miami Heat gem and swingman, Josh Richardson, was suspected to be on the move. Not so fast now though with the man in charge who covets the J-Rich types.

Josh Richardson isn’t going anywhere

We recently touched on the possibility of a Josh Richardson reunion with the Miami Heat, as our pals over at The Sixer Sense suggested that he may be on the move this offseason. Well, I am here to tell you that with Morey’s history and Josh Richardson’s attributes, he isn’t going anywhere.

He is exactly the kind of guy that Morey covets. He is a 6’6-6’9 ish wing, that is capable of doing a lot for your team, plays both ends, and is capable of knocking down his open three-point looks.

That is the essence of the character and composition of a Daryl Morey team, at least based on what we have seen out of him up until this point. Yes, Josh Richardson would have been a nice potential readdition to this team, but Philly would have been silly to let him go anyway.

Whatever the reasoning was, believe us, he wasn’t the issue. He was probably one of the only pieces helping it to stay together.

With Morey at the helm now though to pick the groceries, he won’t ever leave the market. That’s what history tells us.
