Miami Heat Trade Market Targets From Houston- Jae’Sean Tate & P.J. Tucker

The Houston Rockets have a roster full of guys that the Miami Heat could find use for. Of course though, there are some that could be more useful than others.

You also have those guys along the roster that they wouldn’t trade or the Miami Heat wouldn’t pursue them. That includes Christian Woods, their best player right now, and John Wall, banged up and with a huge pricetage on his deal to boot.

Outside of those guys, there are a few other pieces.

3. Jae’Sean Tate

The Houston Rockets have exposed the rest of us to Jae’Sean Tate and now, I can’t stop thinking about the way he approaches the game. A guard by positional categorization, Tate plays the game with a reckless abandon and demeanor suited for a power forward.

At 6’4″ and 230 pounds, he’s sort of built like it too. More linebacker than shooting guard, Tate offers a unique mix of size, hustle, grit, and perimeter play that few others can.

What better way to maximize that type of game than to play beside and learn from P.J. Tucker. Tate is naturally a guard, I would think, but he reminds me a ton of P.J. with the way he uses his strength and size to get things done on the floor.

2. P.J. Tucker

Speaking of P.J. Tucker though, he would be great addition for the Miami Heat. We don’t need to explain, we all know how P.J. gets down.

He’s a horse in there. He’s strong, he’s determined, he’s gritty.

He’s also a plus defender and capable of knocking down the corner three with regularity. We all know what we would be getting in Tucker.

That’s a hard-nosed do-everything type of guy that will always sell out for the team. That’s why he’s the number two ranked guy here.
