The Miami Heat got off to another dreaded slow start in Saturday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. After digging a 20 point hole to climb out of for themselves on Friday night against Toronto, you would have thought that getting off to a good start the following night would be a priority.

It wasn’t but nevertheless, the Miami Heat allowed the Brooklyn Nets to control the game from tip to the end. Though the Heat never had a lead and trailed by high double digits across quite a bit of the game, they pulled within a possession on several occasions as the game came to an end.

Miami Heat head coach, Erik Spoelstra had a questionable sequence where he didn’t call timeout to close it, where the Heat were down three and got a rebound off of a needed Kyrie Irving free throw miss. That’ll be one he doesn’t live down, you would think.

The Miami Heat couldn’t get the victory on Saturday but they will have another shot on Monday. Perhaps the Miami Heat might even have some of their absent guys back in the lineup.

Hot. 3 guys that should be trade targets for them. light

The Miami Heat weren’t able to get a win Saturday but Bam Adebayo had a career night.

Even in a losing showing though, there was one Miami Heat guy who had a career night. Bam Adebayo was more aggressive from the tip than he has ever been at any point in his basketball playing career.

The proof is in the pudding though, as he finished with 41 points, five rebounds, and nine assists. This is the Bam Adebayo that the Miami Heat need every night moving forward.

He is capable of being this aggressive and he is capable of being this effective every night. Imagine if we had our full lineup available and Bam were this aggressive?

Yes, that has the potential to get really scary. We can’t really know what we have right now, as we aren’t whole but with Bam playing this way, man is it exciting to think about Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro getting back.

Next. Some of the greatest hoppers in team history. dark

Bam Adebayo did all he could on Saturday and actually gave them a chance, it just wasn’t enough in the end. He needs to continue to play that way though, as this Bam Adebayo takes a healthy and whole Heat team to an entirely different level.
