The Miami Heat are potentially in the market to make a move here soon. While many of us have been watching the trade market for a while for a few different names for the Miami Heat, none of them have come to fruition thus far.

James Harden ended up going to the Nets. This is after the whole of Miami Heat Nation slobbered over the enigmatic bucket getter for a few weeks as it all fell down in Houston.

As a result of that move, some of use even wondered if Kyrie Irving might be made available. With Harden coming aboard, another dominant ball handling guard, it didn’t necessarily seem all that conducive to what Kyrie does.

They too, though, have seemingly found a rhythm playing together. That probably won’t happen either.

We all know the Giannis story by now. He never gave anyone an opportunity to pitch him, including the Miami Heat, as he re-signed with the Bucks before ever hitting free agency.

Victor Oladipo was another target. He was moved though in what eventually would become a part of the James Harden deal.

The Houston Rockets landed Oladipo, while the Indiana Pacers landed Caris LeVert from Brooklyn.
