The Miami Heat have won a few games in their last few, the last three to be exact. It felt good coming into Monday night riding high off of a good win on Saturday over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

However, that didn’t mean that they could let their guards down. They still had to come in on Monday and get the job done, as the Oklahoma City Thunder team they would face is talented and capable of beating you on any given night.

The Miami Heat started the game on fire. That wouldn’t last though, as they put up a clunker in the second period.

Much of the same continued into the third, but the Miami Heat finally got things together in the fourth, outscoring Oklahoma City 15-0 before the Thunder could finally get things going for themselves.

That’s how the Miami Heat found themselves. They finally played a little bit of Miami Heat defense and basketball, in general, for an expanded stretch of time.

Also. Miami Heat may have beat LeBron on Saturday, but here’s to his brilliance. light

The Miami Heat, as a unit, and Duncan Robinson found themselves again on Monday.

We all see where it got them! They were able to expand their lead on their own behalf, but they were also able to do it by holding off the opponent.

That’s the way you like to see it happen. They weren’t the only ones, as a compete unit, to find themselves though.

Duncan Robinson was also back on Monday! He was his usual sharp shooting self again.

Going 6-13 from deep on the night, just under that 50 percent from three mark is where we like to see him. Though some would say it’s just the nature of things, we tend to think there is something else that motivates Duncan a bit too.

There is nothing more motivating to Duncan, it seems at times, than to see Max Strus come off the pine and hit a few shots. We love it though!

Not only are we in appreciation of the extra production from Max, but if it’ll get Duncan going like he can go, then we’re all for it. Now, perhaps it’s all a big tongue in cheek, but at the same time, there may be a little something to it all in reality.

Next. Miami Heat Need to Stop Going Through the Motions. dark

Either way, we are just glad that they both found small bits of themselves again tonight and at least for a little bit. Let’s hope they both can latch on to what occurred in Monday’s win over the Thunder and ride that out for the remainder of the year.
