The Miami Heat are in a fight to the finish right now. Being off until Saturday, where they will take the floor to face a Cleveland Cavaliers squad just trying to finish the season on a strong note, the Miami Heat are on a mission to conquer the monster that is avoiding an NBA play-in situation.

While they still have a very good chance to do so, as currently constructed, the more help they could get would be the better. Also and beyond just sorting out that particular postseason scenario, the entirety of the postseason would be one made better by the presence of more help.

While some of you may be wondering, “well, how or where could they add help now, at this point of the season?” It isn’t about going out and getting it, as much as getting that in which you already have back into the lineup.

That, of course, means Victor Oladipo.

When asked about his status recently, by Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, here what Coach Spo had to say. It’s really a bunch of nothing, a mirage, smoke and mirrors, and an answer that would make Penn and Teller envious (well, not Teller, because he doesn’t speak but…yea).

The Miami Heat need Victor Oladipo back as ASAP, which is no laughing matter, but Coach Spo’s latest update is pure comedy in itself.

After saying that he won’t travel with the team. He offers an update, sort of.

He said a lot, but didn’t say anything. He gave answer, but didn’t really give one.

You, kind of, feel like you know a bit more about the scenario, but you don’t really know anything more about the scenario than you did before the question was asked.

It’s a lot of all of that going on here with Spoelstra and Winderman. Here is a Winderman response to it all.

Sounds about right. Based on all of this and the small updates that have been and were received, you have to imagine that Winderman really pressed the issue a bit.

You can’t be mad at him for that. It’s important information and inquiring minds would truly like to know.

In order for the Miami Heat to go as far as they could go this season, to absolutely max out and for which is legit title contention at their peaks, then they would need Victor Oladipo. They wouldn’t even need Oladipo at 100 percent, though that would be nice.

If they could just get 70 percent of what he could give when he’s right, that’ll be enough to shake things up. Who knows how far that means going or if he has more than that to give.

Next. Should they be looking directly at Portland this offseason?. dark

At this point, it’s all a bonus and the more the better. As far as Spo’s answers here though, the only right response is VOILA!
