The Miami Heat will go as Jimmy Butler does. That’s pretty plain to see at this point.

He is also at that point in his career where individual accolades and everything that isn’t an NBA Title doesn’t really seem to matter while his declining of an Olympic Team invite, in example, is proof of such.

With that, his goals will reflect that notion. That doesn’t, however, mean that the individual recognition won’t come through attempting to accomplish those team-oriented goals at the highest levels though.

That, too, shall be reflected in his goals for next season. Here they are.

Improved 3-Ball For Entire Season

Jimmy Butler has been an awful deep shooter since arriving in Miami. Shooting 24.4 and 24.5 percent, respectively, in the two seasons since arriving, he needs to be much better.

There really isn’t much else to say, except, that he has to hit the gym. You can be sure he is though, as that’s just who he seems to be.

He did start to take more with confidence as the season closed, as well, so that’s something to build on. It would help add another important dynamic to his game and the Miami Heat’s if he could relocate some kind of consistency from out there beyond the three-point line.
