The Miami Heat are no strangers to really good coaching. They are a team that believes in developing, harvesting, and excelling there as much as they do in the player development department.

Why can’t one marry the other though? That’s exactly the thought here.

Mike Brown has done a really good job coaching the Nigerian National Basketball Team. Nigeria also beat Team USA in a shocking upset over the weekend.

Brown has done a great job coaching his guys and it can’t be overstated. But the thing that has caught my eyes with Brown the most and something that he has really done a good job at, is with the three Miami Heat guys on his team.

When you look at how he’s used KZ Okpala, Precious Achiuwa and Gabe Vincent, it’s the dream scenario for Heat fans. Achiuwa has really been playing better under Brown.

If you are Miami, why wouldn’t you try and bring in Brown? Especially with what he’s been able to get from those guys… your guys.
