Miami Heat unexpected trade targets: Coby White

Getting anything less than a star back for Tyler Herro may upset Miami Heat fans. However, this trade would improve the team as a whole by filling positions of need.

Coby White has the potential to be a star point guard. Despite this, the Bulls seem somewhat intent on signing someone else to fill that role in Chicago.

If this is the case, trading for him could be the perfect play for the Miami Heat. This would allow them to spend the majority of their free agency money elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Thaddeus Young would slot in at the power forward for the Bulls. His defense and solid mid-range shot would fit in great in the starting lineup.

White will miss the beginning of the season as he nurses an injury, but once he’s back he will be able to help the Miami Heat win right now. Plus, he would pair beautifully next to Bam Adebayo for years to come.

Last year, White averaged 15.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.8 assists. He shot 41.6% from the field and 35.6% from three-point range.

Meanwhile, this trade would add another wing to the Bulls rotation whilst also providing some salary-cap relief. Herro could slot into their starting lineup or act as their sixth man.
