Players who could lead the Miami Heat in scoring: Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler has led the Miami Heat in scoring for each of the two years he has been with the team. He’s been the clear leader on the team ever since he signed with them.

However, Butler is not necessarily a scorer. His defense and playmaking skills are arguably much better than his ability to score the ball.

He can score, it’s just not always the thing he goes to first on offense. Due to that, he could end up taking a slightly different role in the offense next year.

With all the talent they have on the roster, Butler might not have to shoulder the load as much offensively. Players such as Lowry could come in and take over a good chunk of the scoring duties.

That being said, Butler is still the best player on the team. When someone is getting paid as much as Butler is, they’re bound to get a load of shots.

He’s never been a great three-point shooter, but he gets things done in other ways. He’s great when driving to the basket and has a solid mid-range shot.

There’s a solid chance that the trend continues and Butler is the team’s leading scorer. It’s just not as sure of a thing as it has been in previous years.
