Things that need to happen for the Miami Heat to win the NBA Finals: Bam Adebayo asserting his dominance

Bam Adebayo is an amazing basketball player. He is only 24 years old and has already made an All-Star game and won a gold medal at the Olympics.

He got close to averaging 20 points per game last season but ended up falling just short. If he can assert this dominance on the offensive end even more, the Heat would be a scary team.

Despite doing most of his work in the paint, Adebayo has the ball-handling skills of a guard. He has shown these skills off at times in the NBA, but not nearly enough.

The big man doesn’t drive to the basket often, but when he does he’s super efficient. Maybe it’s time the Miami Heat give Adebayo the reins on offense.

With his mix of athleticism and ball-handling abilities, he has the potential to be a force on the offensive end. To be honest, he could put up Giannis Antetokounmpo-type production if he learned how to drive the ball effectively.

Obviously, Antetokounmpo is a special player, but Adebayo has all the tools necessary to utilize the same playstyle as him. Who’s to say that he can’t put up similar numbers?

With elite playmakers like Butler and Lowry around him, he should have more opportunities than ever this year. If Adebayo can reach his full offensive potential, the Miami Heat would get even scarier.
