Miami Heat: 3 Guys With Something To Prove In Coming Season – Kyle Lowry

The Miami Heat brought in a new floor general this offseason. Not only is he one that can run their team, but he’s a guy that can help create offense, both for himself and his teammates.

Kyle Lowry

The first thing that is said about guys that are over a certain age is that they are old. Next, when specifically thinking about Kyle Lowry, many will point to his year last year in Toronto.

How can he be the Miami Heat’s missing piece, if he couldn’t be enough to get Toronto into the playoffs last season? Well, that is bigger than just him and a fair sentiment.

However, a team is more than just one guy, which also serves to answer the question. With other issues and roadblocks in Toronto last season, such as the fact that they weren’t actually in Toronto or Pascal Siakam’s struggles, they helped to contribute to why his team didn’t have a ton of success last season.

With good individual numbers though, he was still a very good player for them. The whole concept of team is also why he’s the Miami Heat’s missing piece.

Because of how he will impact everyone around him and how that will allow his game to continue to be effective is what it’s really about here. That though, is why he is the first main Heat guy with something to prove in the coming season.
