The excitement of the NBA offseason is over, and now is that weird period of time between free agency and the start of the year. The Miami Heat made a ton of moves, but there’s not a lot of stuff going on anymore.

They still have to sign a couple of two-way players, but other than that, all major moves have been set. So, why not take a look at some of Miami’s past rosters?

Everyone knows the big names over the last ten years – LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Jimmy Butler, etc. However, how many Miami Heat fans remember every player on every roster?

Who is the most random player from the last five Miami Heat rosters? Do you remember their time with the organization?

2020-21 Miami Heat: Chris Silva

Chris Silva is a relatively unknown player in the grand scheme of things. For that reason, he was the most random player on the roster this past season.

He was traded halfway through the year, alongside Maurice Harkless, for Nemanja Bjelica. Due to this, he only appeared in 11 games for the Miami Heat.

The 6-8 big man actually had a solid rookie season with Miami. He averaged 3.0 points and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 61.5% from the field.

Despite all this, Silva is likely most well-known for the viral video of him reuniting with his mom. He came to the United States to pursue a basketball career and had not seen her in years.

Regardless, Silva is still a pretty random player. Only diehard Miami Heat, and now Sacramento Kings, fans would likely know who he is.
