Miami Heat: Jimmy Will Be What He’s Been… The Best Player Every Single Night

Again, Lowry will operate the team and from the top, allowing Jimmy to have optimal space to go to work on his defender, something he hasn’t really had a ton of in the last few years. That space is also why his three point shot is crucial though.

With what they have this season, they have guys that you can’t leave to double someone else. Hitting shots will ensure that there is always enough space for any given player to do their own thing to the best of their abilities.

It will ensure Lowry has enough room to drive to the rim, hard-stop in the middle areas, or dish it to someone else for a look. It would help ensure guys like Bam has a ton of room to operate in his ideal areas, as the defense has to choke-up to Jimmy and others on the perimeter, terrified that they might give up an open look.

That will be Jimmy’s role in the rotation. That is to return to being a preeminent two-way wing in the NBA, one that can get you 20 points a game, easily and hold the opposing best wing to under 17, easily.

He should also be able to do it with an increased three-point prowess for the Miami Heat, as that’ll, not only, further unlock his game, but the games of the rest of his team.
