If you follow or support the Miami Heat, then you thought that they might have a small issue coming into this season.
Even with all they had done on the open market of the offseason, even with the improvements of returning players, and even with the rejuvenation that a, finally, full offseason could bring, the Miami Heat still didn’t have a true backup lead-guard option.
Well, that’s, at least, one that was somewhat proven, at the very least.
While that still isn’t absolutely the case right now, there is reason to feel better about it than one might have prior to the season opener.
Though just a preseason contest, meaning that you still need to see a ton and in the regular season, Tyler Herro showed that he has been working on his pressure-handling ability and that the myth of his improved strength wasn’t a myth at all.
That’s the first reason why it won’t be an issue or as big of one.
