Miami has played great this preseason, picking up four wins and only losing once so far. Their one loss came just last night vs. the Atlanta Hawks.
They are setting up for a great regular season campaign, but until then, it’s time to continue this series of articles. What team trade history will be up next on the list?
Well, per usual, a random NBA team wheel was spun to decide which team should be explored. This time, the wheel landed on the Charlotte Hornets – a divisional rival.
The Miami Heat have actually played the Hornets once this preseason already. They took home the 104-103 win on the back of a clutch, and-one layup from Javonte Smart in the final seconds.

So, what does the trade history between the Miami Heat and the Charlotte Hornets look like? And, since hindsight is 20/20, which trade ended up being the best for the Heat in the long run?
