Miami Heat: Kyle Lowry’s Offense Needed, But Not Worrisome… Yet

The Miami Heat will go as far as Jimmy Butler can take them, he’s their best player. On top of that though, they need a strong, ferocious, and consistently aggressive Bam Adebayo in order for them to realize their maximum potential too.

Further, Tyler Herro‘s dominance in the Sixth Man role will be essential as they continue to move forward. Even among all of that though, Kyle Lowry‘s offense will be needed as they progress through the season.

Having one of his lower-output years in about eight years, as you hate to say worst, he’s only averaging 12 points per game this season through 15 games played.

With the Heat being as well-rounded as they are and as long as he puts up the numbers when they need them, that doesn’t matter though.

The Miami Heat need Kyle Lowry’s shot-making in the worst way right now. However, it’s nothing to be totally worried about… yet.

He showed what he can still do in his 22-point fourth period against the Clippers last week. It did all but complete the comeback effort, which fell just short.

Still though, it happened, which is why that part isn’t a problem. What can be looked at as an issue though is his efficiency and especially from range.

Shooting just under 31 percent from deep, that’s his worst shooting percentage from three since the 2009-10 season. There should be great faith that he picks it back up, but the Miami Heat could certainly use his shot-making.

You also hate to mention his overall lack of shot-making because he’s doing so much everywhere else for the team but again… you need his shot-making. You would like it to return more sooner than later, but his track record says that it will.

Don’t kid and especially with Duncan Robinson’s struggles to open the year, they need his shooting and offense in the worst way right now. However, because it’s Kyle Lowry and you know his work, it’s nothing to be worried about… yet.
