The Miami Heat have a tricky little scenario on their hands. While it has been common knowledge for a week or so now that Bam Adebayo would be down for about 4-6 weeks after thumb surgery, things were made official on Tuesday, as he had the procedure in Los Angeles.

While the hope is that he can get back more sooner than later, that January 12thish timeframe against Atlanta and as alluded to by Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, that isn’t the only big injury woes that they have.

As a matter of fact, it’s get much deeper than that.

With Jimmy Butler initially injuring his tailbone in a win over the Chicago Bulls almost two weeks ago now, he aggravated the same tailbone injury by falling straight on it in a similar fashion in Monday’s loss to Memphis.

That injury saw him unable to complete Monday’s game, though he completely tried to tough it out and you give him credit for that, but it also now has him out for Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee.
