If you follow the Miami Heat or have followed them for any time during Coach Spoelstra’s tenure as their head man, then you’ve probably heard the term Spoisms.

Just as it sounds, they are a set of sayings, mantras, beliefs, cliches, principles, or slogans that the Miami Heat head coach has uttered, coached by, and proven during his time with the organization.

One of his most popular is this one. “We have enough”.

Used to indicate that no matter the circumstances surrounding his team and roster, injuries, absences, personal matters, an overall lack of talent, or in these current times— COVID, Spo always thinks that his guys have a shot.

He wouldn’t be that far off either, as they’ve consistently proven over the years to be able to get the most out of the least, while also wining when they were supposed to (The Big 3 Era). However, when you are dealing with some of the guys that Spo has to work with now, that becomes as easy as ever.

The Miami Heat have been down major guys over the past few weeks, but that hasn’t stopped them. As Coach Spo always says, it’s because they ‘have enough’.

Just in this recent slew of games, you can look to guys like P.J. Tucker, Caleb Martin, Gabe Vincent, and Dewayne Dedmon. They have all, not only had huge games with the absences of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo but have been sole reasons for victory.

That’s, not to mention, over some pretty good teams. Caleb Martin had a monster game in a win over the Bucks before he went down with COVID.

Dewayne Dedmon has nicely filled in as a starter, dominating his matchups at times, since Bam Adebayo went down. P.J. Tucker has been the Bam replacement, both as needed offense and the do-everything savant that Bam is when he’s right.

Lastly and ironically enough, whenever they are without the future NBA Sixth Man Of The Year in Tyler Herro, Gabe Vincent has come to play this year. With the jumper that he couldn’t find for the life of him early in his Miami Heat career, it has emerged to be a weapon for both him and his team.

It’s the one that won them their last contest against Philadelphia. That one.

Needless to say, the Miami Heat have needed all they could get from the aforementioned foursome and everyone else too. But it just goes to show that the Miami Heat, do indeed, “have enough”, and that’s because guys just keep stepping up.
