The Miami Heat continue to chug along late in the NBA season. With just under 20 games to go in the season, 16 to be exact, the Miami team currently sits in first place in the Eastern Conference, with a three-game lead over the second-placed Philadelphia 76ers, while they only sit a half-game behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the second-best record in the entire league.
With a matchup against the league-leading Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, they’ll have a chance to directly impact the 8.5 game gap between them and the top slot. It isn’t a certainty that they can even get there, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try.
No matter what they do in that upcoming contest and with a title on the mind for the rest of the year, Kyle Lowry will be a huge part of it. He’s been that all year long and his impact is immediately felt when he’s in the lineup.
It was that way from his very first contest with the team. You just notice a difference when the Miami Heat have QB1 on the floor leading the show.
He’s the ultimate problem solver.
