The Miami Heat are seeking their first real opportunity to get right after what was a very tumultuous last week of play for them. Coming off a win over Sacramento on Monday night, they will walk into TD Garden on Wednesday seeking a win against a high-quality opponent, the Celtics, to officially get them back on track.

That would be “back on track” after a heinous last week of play that was sparked or agitated, at the very least, by the “incident” that has now been heard and seen around the world. If you follow the Miami Heat or are familiar with their history, then this next fact should have been one of your immediate first thoughts on the scenario.

It was oddly similar to a situation that occurred between another star Heat perimeter player and Coach Spoelstra. Though there are a few differences, the similarities are downright uncanny.

Dwyane Wade is the player in question, which makes things a bit different in itself, with him being the greatest player in franchise history and all. There is also the fact that Flash’s incident occurred smack dab in the middle of a playoff series against a heated rival at the time.

If you think back to what happened, it’s fair to assume that Wade’s lackluster play up until that point in the game is what might’ve led to Spo’s blowup with Wade at that time.

Here is what Wade had to say on the more current incident recently though.

"“Well, I text Spo right after that and said, ‘It looks like you guys are gearing up for the playoffs,’ ” Wade said with a smile in his role as TNT studio analyst. “This, right here, for me, I have been in that.”"

The Miami Heat are looking to the future after last week’s incident. However, the past saw a situation like this one too, involving the franchise’s best player ever.

He would go on to finish the sentiments with a bit more to add.

"“You can play the same video with me and Spo. Spo ain’t come back at me like that,” Wade said. “Spo and I had the same blowup. We ended up winning the next three games. I think we won a championship that year."

"“So sometimes family have fights, they have disagreements, they have arguments in front of the world, because that’s what we’re playing in front of, right? And so, I looked at it like, ‘Oh, this is a Tuesday for the Miami Heat.’ “"

As noted, they would go on to win the title though, so there is also that. Let’s look at a bit of the current incident in question.

When you think about it, a lazy-looking closeout on a three-point shooter is also what probably led to the blowup between Jimmy Butler and Coach Spoelstra. Here’s a look at that play.

So, yes, Dwyane Wade is exactly right. He has been in those shoes before.

Jimmy Butler was also in his shoes. The ones that weren’t giving much effort.

The results are that mattered for Wade’s bunch.

You hope that the results are the same for Jimmy’s bunch too. As W.o.W would go on to indicate though in his sentiments, this is standard business for the Heat, expression.

When you have gritty and hard workingn teams with a ton of fight and attitude, this is just, kind of, what happens.

You hate that it happened the way it did, but Miami should be all the better for it. Well, at least, you hope that’s the case.
