Miami Heat: If Kyle Lowry Is Shooting His Shot, They’ll Be Tough To Beat

Averaging nearly 18 points, three boards, and six assists across his last eight contests for the Miami Heat, since the Oklahoma City game, he’s been marvelous.

However, it isn’t just about the fact that he’s converting his stuff at a high level. The mere fact that he’s taking his looks, 64 attempts from range in those eight games, is a great thing.

Never mind the fact that he’s hitting at a classic Kyle Lowry type level (about a 37 percent deep shooter for his career), making 32/64 attempts for a ridiculous 50 percent shooting from range across that span, the fact that he’s taking them changes the game!

The raw production is one thing, but what it does for the rest of his team is also worth its weight in gold. He totally bends defenses in different directions when he’s letting it go.

It’s really that simple. That’s why you’ve always wanted him to shoot his shot.

Now, he’s doing just that.

And because he is, especially at the extremely high level that he’s doing it at, that certainly makes the Miami Heat the true title contenders that a lot of people have believed they were this entire season.

Dangerous Loomers, huh?
