Miami Heat: Pursuing Mo Bamba Would Make A Ton Of Sense

When you look at Bamba up until now, he is still young at only twenty-four years old but he seems to need a new start, as being in Orlando has not been ideal for him or most other players for the past decade. Looking for the three-ball a little too much out of college, he didn’t look assertive enough on the court.

After being drafted by Orlando, who already had an All-Star big in Nikola Vucevic at the time, playing time, in general, would be hard to get.

That’s not even looking at real minutes or chances to develop in pressure situations. Young guys need to play through their mistakes and he hasn’t had a ton of those types of opportunities in meaningful games and situations.

He has games where he stretches the floor from three and defends the rim at a high level. His peaks can, at times, see him look like a top thirty player on the right night, but the consistency hasn’t been there either.
