Miami Heat: Not Crazy To Believe P.J. Tucker Isn’t As Treaded As Age Says

The first response to such a notion might be a look of disgust. It may sound blasphemous, but hear it out.

Yes, it’s well known and apparent that Tucker plays with a style of ball that is of the roughest, most tumble, and rugged nature. This coincides with him being among the feistiest in the game on defense and a mastermind at execution in the hustle areas

P.J. Tucker gives the game and his team everything he has in his body on every single play of every single game.

Playing through pain, at times, this past season, Tucker was always there when he physically could be to give his team whatever he had in the tank.

All of that is apparent and can put a lot of pressure on the body. Here is the kicker to that though.

For a lot of guys like that, their skills show up mostly in those areas. While Tucker’s ultimate value is on the defensive side of the ball and the everything else that he constantly offers a team, he has immense value on the other side of the ball as well.

And to emphasize that even more, that value might’ve actually grown in this past season with the Miami Heat. However, that part of his game isn’t as taxing on him.
