Predicting Where Each Miami Heat Free Agent Lands This Offseason

Miami Heat: Where Each Free Agent Lands – Dewayne Dedmon And Udonis Haslem
I am on the fence about this one.
Prediction: Miami Heat Let Dewayne Dedmon Walk This Offseason
Dewayne Dedmon has been a consistent big man for the Heat and a solid backup center for Bam Adebayo. This is an important role that Miami needs, especially if Bam gets in foul trouble.
It would be good for the Heat to add a little more size to their roster. Losing Dedmon would put them in the opposite direction of that.
However, I think that the Heat will explore other options at center. They have a few of them when it comes to filling that role too.
Part of that will depend on their trust in Omer Yurtseven and their rookie acquisition in Nikola Jovic. They will also be looking at a few names in the free agency market.
Dewayne Dedmon’s run with the Heat has been great, but it might be coming to an end this offseason. The 76ers might be the team to land him.
The Heat can withstand losing him as long as they can find another center who can fill his role.
Prediction: Udonis Haslem Returns For, At Least, One More
As long as he doesn’t retire, Udonis Haslem will be back with the Miami Heat next season. Haslem doesn’t play too many games with the Heat, but the biggest fans know how important he is to this team.
As one of the pioneers of Heat Culture, Haslem is as important as anyone to have on the Heat’s sideline. His communication with his teammates is the type of motivation that elevates them to the level of a great team.
The Heat need Haslem around to help their young players grow. That will be crucial for Bam Adebayo’s continued growth next season and especially since he had a sub-par postseason for a player of his caliber.
