Miami Heat highlight some of their most ferocious dunks of last season
The Miami Heat have rostered some of the NBA’s preeminent flyers and most ferocious slam dunkers in their time as a franchise. When it comes to pure power, LeBron James, Alonzo Mourning, Bam Adebayo, and Shaquille O’Neal are among the most tenacious when it comes to looking to tear the rim off of its edifice.
Speaking of LeBron though, he’s also one of the foremost aerial assault artists the league has ever seen when it comes to pure bounce and athleticism. For a guy that’s already been blessed with 6’9″ height, he can sure elevate off the ground as well.
Then you have the other human pogo sticks that have played for the Miami Heat as well. The franchise’s greatest player ever, Dwyane Wade, has seen his fair share of air as well.
You then have guys like Derrick Jones Jr., Gerald Green, and James Johnson among other past Heat guys.
The Miami Heat are known for hard work and defense, but they can get you out of your seat too. Here are some of the best of those moments from last season.
On the current roster, you have guys like Victor Oladipo, once an extremely high-flyer prior to a series of lower body injuries but hoping to fully bounce back, and Caleb Martin, a guy capable of delivering with flat-out air, power, or both as he attacks the rim.
But they aren’t alone and in fact, many of the guys on the current roster, many from last season, are capable of delivering a highlight-worthy throwdown. Here are some of last season’s best.
Yes, we know, dunking doesn’t win ball games. That’s a fact.
However, they sure make for exciting moments, something wonderful to remember and talk about, and the best types of viral posts on social media. That’s especially when a guy elevates directly over the top of a defender on his way to tearing the rim off the glass.
Hopefully, the Miami Heat can have many more of these electrifying moments in the coming season. However, you hope that they are able to produce these moments on the way to a title.
Yea, that would be the best of both worlds.
