Miami Heat: Considering LeBron James Among Team GOATs

Though they have similar circumstances, teaming up with Dwyane Wade to bring the Heat a title, the situations are a bit different. The whole synopsis here is this.

When talking LeBron James, he should be considered among the pantheon of Miami Heat All-Timers, though it’s fair if you don’t include Shaq. Shaq made his name elsewhere, playing 12 seasons and winning titles before joining the Heat.

Now, he fully embraced Miami, as they did him along the way to helping them to their first title.

So, while he will always be a legend in Miami for that and while you could include him among the names for the greatest Heat players ever, this is the main reason why it’s fair if you don’t.

When it comes to LeBron James though, it was in Miami where he truly became LeBron James. Unlike Shaq, who was a surefire Hall Of Famer and title winner before coming to LA, James wasn’t.

Yes, he was, likely, a surefire Hall Of Famer, still and at that point, however, he didn’t know what it took to win a title. Heck, he didn’t know how to win at the highest level.
