With the release of the NBA’s official schedule, Miami Heat basketball is right around the corner. As we look ahead to the matchups that the Heat are slated for, three games stand out early as games not to miss in the upcoming season.
Within the first three months of the season, the Miami Heat will face the team that beat them in the Eastern Conference Finals, the team that won the NBA Finals, and a team that they have played quite a few times over the years on the biggest stage.
But enough prefacing, here they are.
Eastern Conference Final Rematch (October 21st)
As the new season tips off with a number of great matchups, the Miami Heat will look to take revenge against the team they met in the Eastern Conference Finals. The second game into the 2022-23 NBA season will see the Miami Heat at home and taking on the Boston Celtics.
This game will be one of the Heat’s four home games to start the season, as Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will look to get back against Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown (perhaps?), and Marcus Smart after losing to the Celtics in Game 7 of a thrilling series in last year’s playoffs.
These rivals will meet four times this season (Oct. 21st, Nov. 30th, Dec. 2nd, and Jan. 24th) and could bring the same energy as they did in the playoffs, which is why it is making the list as one of the early games not to miss this season.
