The Miami Heat have never been slouches in any aspect of the way they go about operating their franchise and running their team. When it comes to the goal of it all, winning, they have done that at a high level.

Being among the youngest franchises in the entire NBA, they are also among the winningest. That, in itself, is reflective of the fact of how well they go about doing most things with their franchise.

One thing that has typically stood above all else though, indicative of just how good they must be in this particular area because they are so good everywhere, is how they go about finding and developing undervalued, undiscovered, or discarded talent.

This isn’t a new conversation. They are littered with examples throughout their history.
