As the Miami Heat look to get their season off and going to a good start, that’ll begin with a good, hard, and gritty training camp. Getting ready to kick it all off in the Bahamas on Tuesday, the Miami Heat have several questions to answer as they sort out their team, depth chart, and rotation before actual games begin.

One of those things, to say the least, is what they are going to do at the power forward spot. Losing P.J. Tucker this past offseason to the Philadelphia 76ers, the running thought is that Caleb Martin will get the first shot at manning the role for the Heat as they start the year.

However, it isn’t a certainty that he can successfully man the spot or give the Heat what they need from the position. Then though, there is always the option of bringing in a guy that becomes available, such as the already available Jae Crowder or the potentially soon-to-be available Kelly Olynyk.

Now, the other fortunate thing about those two options is that they have both recently manned the exact position for the Miami Heat or some form of it. That’s another positive to perhaps going that route.
