The Miami Heat have some soul-searching to do. There are no excuses to make and we won’t even try to do that for them.

What we will do is talk about the reality of it all though. The Miami Heat have beaten some pretty good teams this season, such as the Phoenix Suns and the Boston Celtics.

This is, indeed, true. However, they have also taken some pretty tough defeats this season as well and dare it to be said, the worst kind, as they were to some of the poorest teams the league has to offer.

That leaves you confounded, confused, or in a conundrum—at the very least, as you’ve seen how good this Miami Heat team can be when they play the right way, but you’ve also seen just how bad they can be when they fall into their bad habits.

The dichotomy of this singular entity is perplexingly painfully unique. They are truly a polarizing bunch within themselves.
