The Miami Heat would have a chance to do several things on Saturday that they haven’t been able to do much of this year. Getting a win, in general, they would also have the chance to get another win on the road, and possibly even the chance at a four-game road winning streak in light of their recent road wins over Indiana, Oklahoma City, and Houston before Saturday.

Also wanting to avenge an ugly defeat from last Saturday to these same Spurs the Miami Heat would surely have that on their minds entering the contest. And eventually, they would.

Though they would allow a nearly 20-point to none run early in the game, the Miami Heat would pull back close, and eventually away, winning the contest by 10 points themselves, 111-101. And if avenging their defeat from last Saturday and extending a much-needed winning streak weren’t enough, they would get some key shot-making from a guy that really needed to make some shots.

The Miami Heat avenged a defeat on Saturday, beating San Antonio in Mexico City. And along the way, they saw some revived Duncan Robinson shot-making.

Duncan Robinson would play the last half of the fourth period and close the game for the Miami Heat. After going as cold as cold can get last season, Robinson found himself outside of the rotation near the end of the year.

And in very few opportunities on the year thus far, he hasn’t found a way to consistently crack the rotation or consistently hit shots again. However, over the last two or three games, Robinson is showing some extreme signs of life.

It isn’t just the fact that he’s hitting shots or when he’s hitting them, nailing some really timely ones for the Miami Heat recently, it’s the level of difficulty. Duncan Robinson has made some really Old Duncan Robinsonesque threes recently, such as this one.

Perhaps this is the start of something for both entities. Perhaps, this is the turnaround that both, the Miami Heat and one of their resident snipers in Duncan Robinson, needed.
