The Miami Heat got another high-quality win on Wednesday night. Though the Los Angeles Lakers don’t look like anybody’s favorite to win a title or anything of that nature this season, they are still a tough task due to their roster.

Featuring several guys who know how to get it done, two of them stand out more than any others, regardless of their current standings or statistics. That would be Russell Westbrook and, arguably, the greatest player to ever play the game, LeBron James.

With that win behind them though and now looking forward to a trip out West to see some more of that conference’s top teams, there is a tidbit to address before going there and it has everything to do with James.

In the aftermath of dismissing his Lakers from the Heat’s home arena with a defeat, here is what the tapped-in folks over at Five Reasons Sports had to say on King James.

The Miami Heat got a good win Wednesday over LeBron James and his LA Lakers. And LeBron has ‘tremendous’ admiration for the two guys that led that crusade.

And while this means nothing—absolutely nothing, for clarity, it does evoke thoughts. What if… LeBron James was to somehow find his way or desire to be back in Miami?

For starters, you have to be honest with yourself. Even with all the “hate”, past trauma, and past vitriol between the two sides—seemingly with the way the breakup happened, the Heat’s decision-makers would have to be inclined to, at least, entertain the notion.

Secondly, when you think about the on-court product, you imagine it would take the Miami Heat giving up or losing quite a few pieces to get it done. But, that’s where Five Reasons’ thoughts come into play.

As long as the Miami Heat were able to keep the two guys in tow that “LeBron has tremendous regard for”, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, then they are certainly still a title team. Heck, even at LeBron’s and Butler’s ages, that would be a team capable of still winning multiple titles.

Again though, this means nothing. There aren’t any indicators that it is a possibility.

There aren’t any indicators that either side is even thinking about it. This doesn’t mean that at all.

However, what it does mean is that LeBron likes those two dudes a lot. Knowing how he is, his history, and what you know about the Lakers and their future—you have to keep your eyes open because you just might miss something.
