Miami Heat Odds: Can they keep it going on the road over Clippers?
The Miami Heat are still on the road, coming off a, 126-123, victory over Utah Jazz as they head to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers Monday. The Heat are looking to start 2023 on a hot streak, as we inch closer to the 2023 All-Star break in February.
Player To Watch
Tyler Herro is proving why he is one of the key players this season for the Heat, especially after his performance against the Utah Jazz. Herro had 29 points, nine rebounds, and six assists against the Jazz, including hitting the game-winning one-legged three-pointer for the victory.
The Miami Heat should want to keep Herro going strong as they will look to him to knock down shots from behind the three-point arc and be that spark for them when the other stars get a breather.
Keys To The Game
- Limit Fouls– The Miami Heat had a total of 32 fouls against the Utah Jazz but they need to work on staying out of foul trouble. They need to keep their feet planted, limit reaching for the ball, and try to get to spots first on defense.
The Miami Heat will look to create a new streak on Monday night to start 2023 off right. They’ll have to beat the Clippers in LA to do it though.
- Keep Passing The Rock– The Miami Heat connected for 32 assists in their last game. They will need to continue to move the ball, make the simple passes to find easy buckets, and allow everyone to maintain flow in the game.
- Rebound The Basketball– The Miami Heat did not win the rebounding battle against the Utah Jazz, as they only racked up a total of 37 rebounds compared to Utah’s 49. Miami needs to work on attacking the boards, fighting for every offensive and defensive rebound, and making the most of second-chance points where they can.

Predictions
The Miami Heat and their fans are looking to kick off 2023 with another big win on the road against the Clippers. Miami needs to keep making plays, creating opportunities for one another, and getting on runs that should lead to victory.
The Miami Heat will enter the new year with a, 110-105, win over the Los Angeles Clippers. It won’t be easy with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the other side but with Jimmy Butler, hopefully, back in the lineup, the Miami Heat have just as good a shot as they do.
And Happy Belated New Year to everyone!
