The Miami Heat will look to bounce back from a heartbreaking defeat on Saturday night at the hands of the Orlando Magic. After fighting back from being down late to tie the game and force overtime on the back of a Jimmy Butler three at the buzzer, the Heat would come into the overtime period and proceed to immediately let down.

That manifested itself in the Heat instantly allowing the magic to go on a 10-2 run to start the period, taking the game to 118-110 in a blink of an eye. It was all over at that point for the Heat team that seemed gassed, allowing Orlando to run a muck in the final five minutes of the game.

And they’ll have that very same kind of test before them on Monday, as a welcome in a very high-octane Utah Jazz team to the Miami-Dade arena. A team that routinely scores over 100 points, they are coming off two victories in their last two games, including one over those very same Magic that just beat the Miami Heat on Saturday.

The Miami Heat have the high-scoring Utah Jazz coming in Monday. And after the Magic trounced them Saturday, they’ll look to stop the smooth music Monday.

Along with rookie big man, Walker Kessler, the Miami Heat will surely have their hands full with the unique seven-footer on Utah’s roster, Lauri Markkanen. Speaking of the guys they’ll have to deal with though, here’s who the Heat might have to deal with not having themselves.

Miami Heat vs Utah Jazz Injury Report

The Miami Heat injury report for this one has a couple of new names. With Cody Zeller leaving the last game early after colliding with Jalen Suggs, he’ll continue to sit this one out with a nasal fracture. Duncan Robinson continues to be in the league’s health and safety protocols, while Kyle Lowry and Caleb Martin remain questionable for the contest, both with knee situations.

Miami Heat vs Utah Jazz Prediction

The Miami Heat will, again, have to contest with the Utah jazz high-scoring ways in this one. For a Miami Heat team that struggles to score, this might be a tough game.

However, the Heat hang their hats on defense, so if they can do that at a high level, then they’ll have a chance to win. Having guys like Lowry and Martin be able to suit up for them would also be a massive help.

Either way it stands, the Miami Heat are coming off a terrible loss and need to continue to try to stack up wins to seal their position in the Eastern Conference. Look for them to do just that and get a win against the explosive Utah Jazz squad.

Miami Heat’s Next Game And Schedule

The Miami Heat close the week with another home game and two on the road in the midwest. With all of them being tough games, even the final one, and due to the back-to-back nature of it if nothing else, the Heat will need to remain focused to come away an even .500 in the games.

With the New York teams running away ahead of them though, they need to do all they can to grab as many wins as they can.
