The Miami Heat are reeling from a massive blowout at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night. Not being able to miss a shot early on, shooting over 80 percent from the field and from three-point territory after the first period of play, the Miami Heat would fall into the aura of thinking they were going to make every shot that they took for the rest of the night it seemed.

Magnifying bad habits that have been building since they’ve seen a resurgence in their offense, the Miami Heat weren’t focusing on the little things, such as rebounding and making the extra defensive efforts.

While in the first half, again, the Miami Heat were a nearly flawless offensive team, they still didn’t have a huge lead, with the score being 69-65 after the first two periods of play.

Immediately indicative of two things right off, the fact that they still had a ton of work to do and that the current plan of action wasn’t foolproof as well, this was also foreshadowing of things to come.
