The Miami Heat have a ton of work to do as the season begins to come to a close. While getting a ton of help from some of the other teams in the Eastern Conference’s NBA Playoff race, when it comes to their standings in said playoff race, the Heat still have to go out and do what they know how to do.

And that is to play tough, hard, and with maximum effort at all times.

While that “maximum effort” has shown itself more on the offensive end of the ball for Miami recently, as opposed to the traditional Miami Heat defense that they would display for much of the earlier part of the season, you have full faith that the Miami Heat can make the necessary corrections to be, at least, decent enough on that side of the ball when it matters the most.

And when it comes to the offensive side of the ball, we’ve seen the Heat explode in recent games, despite coming out of the All-Star break with the most ineptitude shooting that one could ever even imagine.

The Miami Heat still have work to do in their regular season, but they are progressing. And with Jimmy Butler at the helm, he vows to take them home.

And leading that explosion, of course, is the Miami Heat’s best player, Jimmy Butler. Hitting that time of the season where he usually begins to peak into rare form, Jimmy Butler is not only showing you what he’s all about with this play on the court in recent games but he recently made a vow to the Miami Heat legend himself, Dwyane Wade.

But to set that up, here are a few quotes on his relationship and fondness towards the Miami Heat’s greatest player ever. The quotes are from after their recent win over the Knicks and from 5 Reasons Sports.

"“He’s constantly in my ear. Half the time it’s not even about basketball, it’s about family.” “I always want to make him proud. I love him to death and I’m glad he could see us get a dub.”"

And back to that vow that he made to Dwyane Wade in the above post from the Heat’s social media page, one that occurred on the court immediately after the game, Butler would vow to take this Miami team to the “promised land”.

And again, for the umpteenth time, based on all you know about Jimmy Butler, what he’s been, done, and has made happen during his Miami Heat tenure already— you really have no choice but to believe him.
