2. Phoenix Suns

According to Jake Fischer at Yahoo Sports, the Phoenix Suns are reportedly interested in Gabe Vincent following the Chris Paul trade. Similar to the Timberwolves, the Suns likely can’t offer him much more than the MLE. However, the opportunity to play next to Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal is an opportunity Vincent may not want to pass up on.

Not only would he be the starting point guard on arguably a better team than the Heat, but playing well alongside the aforementioned three could earn him a bigger contract than what he could potentially get this offseason.

The Suns were already an elite shooting team, so adding Vincent to the mix is just icing on the cake. Alongside this, Vincent would do a number on their defensive core. Considering that the Suns lost Paul, will likely lose Torrey Craig, and may not be able to resign Josh Okogie, adding someone like Vincent is almost a must.

It would suck to see the Heat lose Vincent to a snobby team like the Suns. However, it’s a very real possibility. Vincent would likely have a larger role and could very well push for a championship with the core Phoenix has.
