Reputable Milwaukee Bucks reporter Jim Owczarski believes that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be traded and admitted that the Miami Heat link is a very real thing. He would also go on to say that he believes the Heat currently has the best offer on the table for Giannis.

As one of the most respected voices in the Bucks' community, this is the type of development that should rile up Heat fans all over again. It goes without saying, but the Heat's momentum toward a potential deal for Giannis just keeps on building.

Of course, anything can change between now and when Giannis ultimately gets traded. If the New York Knicks jump back in, or a team like the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, or Orlando Magic puts together an offer that the Bucks couldn't pass up, there's always the chance that a team can leapfrog the Heat.

But, at least for now, there is real evidence that Miami is sitting in a great spot for Giannis.

The Heat are right back where they were at the NBA Trade Deadline

Interestingly enough, this is exactly where the Heat were at the NBA Trade Deadline. A few months ago, the Heat reportedly believed that they were going to acquire Giannis at the deadline. In the end, the Bucks ultimately decided to keep their superstar forward in hopes that a better offer could emerge during the offseason.

At the moment, that hasn't happened with another team. It's unknown whether the Heat has upped their offer compared to what it was at the deadline, but they still remain a significant player in the Giannis sweepstakes.

Now, the onus is on the Bucks to figure out what the next steps are. Do they finally pull the trigger? Are they going to get cold feet again?

It's difficult to predict what will happen next, but the arrows continue to point favorably in the Heat's direction. And that will only add more intrigue and excitement heading into the final decision on the Giannis saga.

Fans are starting to feel just how big this move could be

Even though fans are allowing themselves to get completely invested in the Giannis pursuit, this is a move that would completely transcend this franchise.

Acquiring Giannis is bigger than the move for Jimmy Butler. In fact, there's an argument to be made that a trade for Giannis would go down as the second-biggest move in franchise history, second to only LeBron James in 2010.

That's how huge this move would be if the Heat could pull it off. And I don't think there are many who realize that.

The fact that the Heat could be at the doorstep is pretty insane, and it's safe to say that with everything that continues to be reported in Miami's favor, the fans are starting to feel it.
