The Miami Heat’s All-Time team in NBA 2K18 is top heavy, but should compete with any other team’s best.

The creators of NBA 2K released the rosters and ratings for all 30 All-Time teams that will be included in NBA 2K18, which will be released in September.

Each roster consists of 15 players, with ratings reflected of when they were at their peak powers with the franchise. The teams are also broken down into five starters and 10 bench players.

As expected, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, Tim Hardaway, LeBron James and Chris Bosh are included. Miami greats such as Udonis Haslem and Rony Seikaly are included as well.

Here is the Heat’s All-Time team, with players and ratings:

When considering the core rotation, Miami’s All-Time team ranks among the best in the league. Decorated franchises like the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics field the best rosters and the most depth. Other teams lie the San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls are also stacked.

According to Uproxx, franchises with more recent success, the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder (whose history includes the SuperSonics) benefit from each having peak Kevin Durant, among other great players.

Miami doesn’t have the depth that a lot of those teams have, which drives down their average rating, but gamers won’t be using all 15 players on the roster. They’ll mostly be playing with just seven or eight guys. That makes the Heat a substantially more intriguing team to play with in NBA 2K18.

A starting five of Hardaway, Wade, James, Bosh and Mourning has enough shooting, length and athleticism to score on and guard anyone. If it were me, I’d use Glen Rice, Eddie Jones and P.J. Brown off the bench (instead of using Shaq, I’d move Bosh to center and play small with James at the 4).

Of the players on the Heat’s All-Time roster, only two currently play for the team: Hassan Whiteside and Haslem. With the Big Three era officially over, the Heat are looking for their next all-timers.
