In today’s weekend edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we’ll run through what we’ve been writing about the Heat lately here at All U Can Heat.

In today’s weekend edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we’ll catch up on the stories we’ve written so far this week here at All U Can Heat. With Bam Adebayo‘s invitation to join the USA Basketball camp, Hassan Whiteside‘s ongoing banter with his former team and our ongoing Three Goals series, we’ve covered all the bases this week.

Without further ado, we’ll get you caught up on what we’ve been writing about the Miami Heat.

What exactly is “Heat Culture” anyway?

“Heat Culture” is a phrase Heat fans hear quite a bit in regards to the way the organization treats its players and expects its players to conduct themselves. From James Johnson‘s rejuvenation to Dion Waiters‘ physical recovery, “Heat Culture” has its poster children. But what exactly comprises this culture? Our Kenneth Wilson explains.

3 goals for Derrick Jones Jr.:

3 goals for Tyler Herro:

3 goals for Dion Waiters:

In our ongoing series breaking down the top goals for each player on the Miami Heat roster, Derrick Jones Jr., Tyler Herro and Dion Waiters are up next under the microscope this past week. What goals lie ahead for the success of three vital members of the Heat rotation?

Bam Adebayo invited to Team USA camp:

Barely a day after we speculated whether a Heat player would be invited to Team USA’s camp as it prepares for the FIBA World Cup in China, Bam Adebayo got the call from USA Basketball. With Kelly Olynyk already on Team Canada’s roster, the Heat are growing in representation on the international stage for the World Cup.

War of words continue between Heat and Hassan Whiteside:

It seems a bit of a rivalry has emerged between former Heat center Hassan Whiteside and some current Heat players. With Whiteside’s initial joy at the news that he had been traded to the Portland Trail Blazers (“we got shooters” ring a bell?), to Tyler Herro’s clap back, to Whiteside’s own “we got shooters who can dribble” retort, it looks like this friendly little battle should continue through the summer.

Bradley Beal not signing extension with the Wizards (yet):

It comes as no surprise, but Bradley Beal has yet to sign his contract extension offer with the Washington Wizards. He probably won’t sign it either as it would lock him in at a number far less than what he could get in free agency in two summers. This means the Heat can continue to lurk in the wings, ready to try to make a deal to bring Beal to South Beach.
