Miami Heat Hot Topics: Kyle Lowry, Dion Waiters, Our Herro & no Beal
In this week’s edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we discuss the latest on the Bradley Beal/Kyle Lowry to Miami scenarios, Dion Waiters, and Tyler Herro, among other things.
In today’s edition of Miami Heat Hot Topics, we will be discussing a few of All U Can Heat’s stories from over the past week. We’ll dive into the latest on the Bradley Beal and Kyle Lowry fronts, talk about how we think someone may be up to their old tricks, while we will also continue to shine a light on the guy who’s looking like the next great Miami Heat player. Without further ado, let’s get into it.
One simple reason why trading for Kyle Lowry is silly
With a ton of talk starting to develop about the Miami Heat potentially making a move for the Toronto Raptors star point guard, someone had to say something. If you take a look at exactly what it is that Lowry provides a team with, it isn’t that far off of a player that the Miami Heat already has on their roster.
With Lowry’s numbers being eerily similar to Goran Dragic, but with his contract figures being a bit larger, it would be silly to bring in Lowry with Dragic capable of giving you everything that he does. That is why we felt that way about a potential Lowry deal.
Can Dion Waiters become the epitome of Miami Heat Culture?
Dion Waiters sending subliminal messages about playing time?
It seems like at some point in every season, Dion Waiters pulls a Dion Waiters. Whether he is unhappy about something, or whether things just aren’t seemingly going his way, Waiters tends to have a low period every year.
This year, however, it is happening at the beginning of the year. Based on a social media post we detail in the above work, Waiters is already in his feelings. Can’t wait to see what comes of this.
The conundrum that would be trading for Bradley Beal
Several takeaways from the Bradley Beal extension
When thinking about what it may have taken to land Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards, it was a boatload. It probably would have taken two, three, or maybe even four pieces of the young core, from a cross-section of Bam Adebayo, Justise Winslow, Derrick Jones Jr., and Tyler Herro just to name a few.
None of it matters at this point though. Why, might you ask?
Well, Beal signed a two-year extension with the Washington Wizards this past week. It is two years added to the four-year extension he signed a few years back. Either way, it dictates that he cannot be traded this season, which means he won’t be coming to South Beach any time soon, if ever.
3 things Tyler Herro is good at outside of shooting
Tyler Herro … that’s it, he’s the story here
Tyler Herro is really good at basketball. We mean, really good!
While shooting the three is his specialty, he has many other talents on the hardwood. Outside of being able to fill it up in a hurry, Herro can do almost anything he wants to on the court. The above stories dive into exactly that.
4 reasons why Jimmy Butler will not regret choosing Heat
Jimmy Butler makes impression in fourth preseason game
Jimmy Butler is pretty good at basketball as well. He also now plays basketball for the Miami Heat, how amazing is that to say?
He suddenly remembered this fact recently, as he made his first real impression on a game for the Heat, after being somewhat passive over the first few. There was also this one story, from this one outlet, that said Jimmy may regret his decision to join Miami.
We don’t agree. We also counter their point, with points of our own. You can find said points in the listicle above, titled “4 reasons why Jimmy Butler will not regret choosing Heat”.
It was a great week, full of great content here at All U Can Heat. We are looking forward to the upcoming regular season and the accompanying opportunity to keep you up to date and in the know with all things Miami Heat. Until then, Go Heat, #HeatCulture!
