If you take a look at exactly what it is that Lowry provides a team with, it isn’t that far off of a player that the Miami Heat already has on their roster.

With Lowry’s numbers being eerily similar to Goran Dragic, but with his contract figures being a bit larger, it would be silly to bring in Lowry with Dragic capable of giving you everything that he does. That is why we felt that way about a potential Lowry deal.

None of it matters at this point though. Why, might you ask?

Well, Beal signed a two-year extension with the Washington Wizards this past week. It is two years added to the four-year extension he signed a few years back. Either way, it dictates that he cannot be traded this season, which means he won’t be coming to South Beach any time soon, if ever.
