The Miami Heat had a great offseason, capped off by Pat Riley signing Kyle Lowry, who was arguably the best free agent on the market. This sort of success should make fans super happy… right?

Well, according to a recent poll, this may not be the case. A poll ranking the NBA’s most stressed fanbases (via Betus.com) has been circulating, and Heat fans are surprisingly high.

According to the poll, the Miami Heat fanbase is the fourth-most stressed in the entire league. This doesn’t make too much sense considering how well their offseason went.

Why is the Miami Heat fanbase the fourth-most stressed in the NBA?

The only teams that rank higher on the list are 76ers, Celtics, and Cavaliers fans. Those rankings make some sense since each of those franchises has some work ahead of them.

Philadelphia has the whole Ben Simmons situation to deal with. That alone secures them the number one spot on this list easily.

As for the Celtics, they just made a ton of big-time changes to their organization. Add in the Bradley Beal drama, and the fanbase might be getting a little antsy.

Lastly, there are the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Collin Sexton potentially being on the trade market and no end to their lack of success in sight, it makes sense that they would be stressed.

However, putting the Heat right below those teams makes zero sense. Miami has a great future ahead of them, a solid team to compete right now, and no players demanding trades.

The three teams that rank immediately under the Miami Heat are the Clippers, Hawks, and Pistons. Honestly, none of those make too much sense either.

The list gets even more interesting when one considers that Trailblazers fans are ranked the third-least stressed. How does that make any sense?

Damian Lillard could request a trade at any point, and even if he doesn’t, Portland isn’t doing a great job of building a team around him. How are Miami Heat fans more stressed than Blazers fans?

It’s very weird that the Miami Heat fanbase is ranked so high on this list. As a fan of the team, are you feeling stressed out right now?
