Jimmy Butler’s absence will continue to test Miami Heat depth
The Miami Heat are going to have to endure the storm. with Bam Adebayo sidelined, they’ll now be without their other top player for the next few games.
In fact, Jimmy Butler is their best player, making an already tough situation that much tougher for the Miami Heat squad set for a tough little two-game road trip. This was the news reported on their lead guy in an update on his tailbone injury from the Chicago game, fairly concluding he won’t play at all in the two games.
Jimmy Butler did not travel with the Heat to Indiana. So it will be four games missed with tailbone bruise when also factoring in Saturday in Milwaukee. Also no Bam, Morris, Oladipo, Garrett.

Though the Indiana Pacers sit way down at the bottom of the conference standings, going to their place and enduring their style is something that may give the Heat trouble.
Their size and size, in general, bothers this Miami team, which was with Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler in the lineup.
The Miami Heat will not only be without Bam Adebayo for the next month or so, but Jimmy Butler for a tricky little two-game trip. Will their depth deliver?

Without Bam and now Jimmy for the game, it’ll be that much tougher to avenge the early season loss at the hands of these same Pacers.
Then, the Milwaukee Bucks and their size speak for themselves. Nevermind the fact that a huge part of that size also just so happens to be their most talented player, one of the most talented players in the league, and two-time NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Though they’ll be without center, Brook Lopez, out now due to back surgery, they have other guys to supplement the MVP. Bobby Portis and other guys such as the newly added DeMarcus Cousins could pose an issue with the size.
That’s not evening mentioning what they have in Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. Plainly put, the Miami Heat have a ton to deal with over the next month or so.
But they also quite the tricky task in this roadtrip and definitely without Jimmy Butler in tow.
Hopefully it’s just for these two games without him, as they’ll need him a ton without Bam going. The rest of the guys have to step up in a major way and something that was a strength for this Miami Heat team early on in the year, their depth, is now a neccessity.
