The Miami Heat are back on the road, as they take on the Indiana Pacers in a rivalry matchup in the East. The Heat are coming off a, 110-107, victory over the Sacramento Kings following a last-second three-pointer by Tyler Herro.

Here are few things to watch for in their next game though.

Player To Watch

  • Tyler HerroTyler Herro was, in fact, the hero for the Miami Heat against the Kings, as he put up 26 points and 12 rebounds that included the game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds. Herro will need to continue to be a huge factor for this team, as Jimmy Butler didn’t travel with the team for this one either.
  • Kyle LowryKyle Lowry was able to put up a 22-point performance against the Kings, also adding in six assists as well. His ability to find the open man anywhere on the court, knock down clutch shots, and open the floor up for his teammates makes him vital at the Heat’s guard position against the Pacer’s defense.

The Miami Heat are back on the road, taking on a conference rival in the Indiana Pacers. They’ll want to keep the good vibes going with a good road win.

Keys To The Game

  1. Force Mistakes– The Miami Heat were able to force 12 turnovers against the Sacramento Kings last game. Miami will need to force the Pacers into making mistakes as well.
  2. Moving The Ball– The Miami Heat had 27 assists in their previous contest, two assists lower than the Kings. Miami needs to move the ball around the court, creating opportunities for one another, and finding the open man for the easy shot.
  3. Limit Fouls– Miami had a total of 20 fouls against the Kings, as many of the Heat players were in foul trouble. They will want to monitor this to not give the Pacers a chance at a ton of easy points.

Prediction

The Miami Heat are looking to turn their season around and they need to start picking up wins that matter. Doing just that against an Eastern Conference rival is a good way to keep it up.

If Miami is without Jimmy Butler for a second straight game, they will need to pull together to snatch a tough one from the Pacers. And with that, Miami should be able to walk out of Indiana with a, 115-108, win.
