Everything isn’t all good with the Miami Heat right now, but there are some pretty good vibes flowing at the moment. Coming off of tough and needed wins over the Washington Wizards in consecutive contests, the Miami Heat should be looking to regulate a few things.

Needing to get back to and surpass .500 again, they’ll look to continue playing with grit, maximum effort, and a keen sense of teamwork as they enter their next contest, a Sunday evening matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. They also hope to have their health begin to regulate at some point soon as well.

Though Tyler Herro has found his way back onto the court in the last two games, they lost Duncan Robinson in their recent defeat to the Cavaliers, while Jimmy Butler has missed their last five contests. Now, thank the basketball gods for Kyle Lowry, as he has been their saving grace over that stretch.

The Miami Heat have been banged up, but are fighting through. A huge part of that for them has been the emergence of consistent Bam Adebayo offense.

Well, he and the next guy in question. Bam Adebayo, who missed two games recently as well, has been at his most aggressive this season.

When speaking in contrast to past seasons, you couldn’t ask for anything more from the guy. And in his last showing, a 38-point, 12 rebound, and three assists performance from the Miami Heat big man, he put it all on display.

Averaging about 20 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists per game on the season, Adebayo has finally taken that next step in his offensive and overall progression. With his defensive ability, a perennial NBA Defensive Player Of The Year Candidate, he could be a top 10 to 15 player very soon if his trajectory continues as it is.

So, the Miami Heat certainly need to keep getting healthy, while the contributions from guys like Herro, Lowry, Caleb Martin, and others are greatly appreciated as well—but with Bam Adebayo going like this, they can build some things off of that too.

So, overall and unlike years past, you have to praise the fact that his aggression on both ends has been unquestionable for this Miami Heat team thus far this season.
