The Miami Heat are currently the sixth-placed team in the Eastern Conference at 29-24. And though their record only puts them a few games or so above the .500 mark, they are in a pretty decent spot to continue to move up in the standings as the season continues to progress.

At this current juncture in the season though, the annual NBA All-Star Weekend has fallen upon us. And the cornerstone of it all, among the auxiliary events such as the dunk contest or three-point shooting contest, is the All-Star game itself.

The league’s best of the best join together to put on a show for the NBA world to see. And among those guys this year will be a Miami Heat guy, though just one, and likely, not the one you think of at first glance.

The Miami Heat’s lone NBA All-Star in the 2022-23 season will be Bam Adebayo. And the first thought that comes to mind is “wait, no Jimmy Butler?”
