Miami Heat reportedly inclined to move Kyle Lowry before deadline
The Miami Heat haven’t been able to make any deals yet, but with a few days left before that time has come and gone, they are reportedly very inclined to do so. And it’s not just any deal that they are looking to make, as in fact, they seem to have a very specific subject and “motivation” to do so.
That subject would be Kyle Lowry. Here is what one Miami Heat insider recently said on the subject.
The Miami Heat haven’t necessarily gotten the best that’s ever been seen from Lowry during his tenure.
The Miami Heat notion of keeping Kyle Lowry has totally flipped over, reportedly. With that, they are said to be inclined to deal him before the deadline.
And when you consider the $85 million dollar pact over three years, of which he is currently in the second year of, that notion seems just that much worse.
The Miami Heat are right in the thick of things in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. Though the standings are what they are, no team has separated themselves, all showing fallacy.
You could point to the Boston Celtics, who have been out front leading the conference for what seems like most of the year, but the Miami Heat have beaten them this year, they have taken defeats to some very poor teams, and the Miami heat just always seem to be a team capable of competing with those Celtics, no matter how good they are in any particular year.
That’s especially the case over these last couple of seasons anyway, the Jimmy Butler Era shall we say. And when it comes to a Kyle Lowry deal specifically, if the Miami Heat see his presence as a detriment while also being able to get something of merit in a potential deal to rectify a situation they see as tenuous, then they have to.
What is certain is that there are only three days left before the clock strikes that minute of which it will not be a possibility to move him. So, if there is something to be done on the matter, it would better happen more sooner than later.
